The filling floor in Irsaal LPG Cylinder Delivery Software is three screens under **Inventory & Sales**: **Raw Materials** (what the plant uses up: LPG gas, seals, O-rings, valves, safety caps), **Bill of Materials** (a recipe for each finished item) and **Production** (the day's batches, and what was lost). They appear when the **LPG Production** module is switched on under **Settings → Modules** (it is off to start with) and the plan includes the production add-on (on sale today with: no plan on sale today). Saving a batch takes every ingredient named in the recipe off the shelf and puts the finished goods on it: filled cylinders onto **Warehouse Full**, and accessories into **Products**. An agency that only distributes filled cylinders bought from a plant does not need any of this.

## What is a raw material?

A raw material is something the plant consumes but never sells. It is kept apart from the products you sell, so it never shows on a sale, an invoice, the store front or the rider's app. It is bought on **Purchases** like everything else; the **Raw Materials** screen ("What the plant eats") is where you see what is left.

### How do I add a raw material?

1. Open **Inventory & Sales → Raw Materials** and press **Add Material** (needs **Raw Materials → Add**).
2. Fill in:
   - **Name** (required), for example "Cylinder Valve".
   - **Category** (it suggests common ones, and takes anything you type), **Size / Spec** and **SKU**.
   - **Counted in** (required): piece, kilogram and so on.
   - **Purchase Cost** (required).
   - **Stock in Hand**, recorded as opening stock.
   - **Low-stock Alert** (100 to start with).
   - **Active — offered as an ingredient on recipes**.
3. Press **Save Material**.

The screen shows three figures: **Materials**, **Low Stock** and **Shelf at Cost**. Filter by **Search** (name, SKU or category), **Category** and **Status**, then press **Filter**. Each row has **Stock count** (needs **Raw Materials → Stock Count / Adjust**), **Edit** and **Delete**.

### How do I correct a raw material's count?

Press **Stock count** on the row. The box says "The shelf says 480. Type what you actually counted." Enter the **Counted** number and a **Reason** such as "Monthly count", then press **Save Count**. Only the *difference* goes into the ledger.

## How do I write a recipe (Bill of Materials)?

A recipe says what one run makes and what it takes off the shelf: for example "1 × filled cylinder = 1 empty + 11.8 kg gas + 1 seal". Open **Inventory & Sales → Bill of Materials**, press **New Recipe** (needs **Bill of Materials → Add**) and fill in:

- **Recipe name**, for example "11.8 kg Cylinder Refill".
- **Output**: **A catalogue product**, **Filled cylinders** or **New empty cylinders**. For a catalogue product, choose **Which product**. Only things you sell can be an output; a raw material cannot.
- **Units per run**. A kit of three is *one* run that makes 1 kit, and the three parts are ingredients.
- **Notes**, and **Active — offered on the batch form**.
- Under **What it is made of**, press **Add ingredient** for each line and choose its **Kind** (**Raw material / product** or **Empty cylinder**), the **Item** and the **Qty per run**.

Press **Create Recipe** (or **Save Recipe** when editing). A refill takes an **empty cylinder** from the warehouse empty shelf, the same shelf the riders' returned empties come back onto. The steel itself costs the batch nothing, because it was bought once as an asset and is filled and returned for years.

The list shows, for each recipe, what it **Makes**, what it is made **From**, and its **Cost / Run** and **Cost / Unit**. A recipe with no ingredients says "No ingredients yet — a batch would consume nothing." Deleting a recipe does not change batches already booked: they keep their own record of what they used.

## How do I book a production batch?

1. Open **Inventory & Sales → Production** and press **New Batch** (needs **Production Batches → Add**). If there are no recipes yet the page says **There are no recipes yet** and links to **Write one first**.
2. Under **The run**, the **Batch number** is filled in with the next number (change it if you number batches your own way), and the **Date** starts as today. Pick the **Shift**: **Morning**, **Evening** or **Night**. Add **Notes** if you like.
3. Under **What was produced**, press **Add line**, choose the **Recipe** and the number of **Runs**. The **Produces** column shows what that makes.
4. Under **Wastage & breakage**, press **Add** for anything lost during the run: choose the **Kind** (**Raw material / product**, **Empty cylinder** or **Filled cylinder**), the **Item**, the **Qty** and a **Reason** such as "Failed pressure test".
5. The **What this run needs** box adds up everything that will come off the shelf, including the empty cylinders. Check it.
6. Press **Book the Batch**. Nothing moves until you press it.

If the shelf is short the whole batch is refused and nothing is posted: "There is not enough on the shelf for this batch: …". A batch with no produced line is refused with "Add at least one thing this batch produced."

What happens when it is saved:

- Every ingredient the recipes name comes off the shelf. Materials and catalogue products leave their stock, and empty cylinders leave **Warehouse Empty**.
- The finished goods go on the shelf. Filled cylinders go to **Warehouse Full**, new empties to **Warehouse Empty**, and catalogue products into **Products**. A refill is recorded as one line on **LPG Cylinders**.
- The batch keeps the cost of each ingredient *on that day*, so a purchase at a new price next week does not change last week's production cost.
- Wastage comes off the shelf too, but it is kept apart from the cost of the good cylinders.

**Production** ("What the plant filled each day, what it consumed doing it, and what was lost") shows **Runs**, **Units Produced**, **Production Cost** and **Wastage** for the period, with a **Wastage** button. Open a batch to see what it **Produced**, **Consumed** and lost under **Wastage & Breakage**. **Delete Batch** puts everything the batch moved back: "Batch … deleted — everything it moved has been put back."

## How do I record wastage on its own?

Open **Production → Wastage**, headed **Wastage & Breakage** ("What broke, leaked or was condemned — on a run, or on its own"). Under **Record a loss**, choose the **Date**, **What was lost**, **Which one** (for a raw material), the **Quantity** and a **Reason**, then press **Write It Off**. It shows in the list below, with the **Value lost in this period**. It needs **Production Batches → Record Wastage & Breakage**.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I track raw materials like gas and seals in Irsaal LPG software?

Switch on the **LPG Production** module under **Settings → Modules**, open **Inventory & Sales → Raw Materials** and add each one with **Add Material**. Buy them through **Purchases**, and write a recipe under **Bill of Materials** so each batch takes them off the shelf by itself.

### What is a Bill of Materials?

A recipe: what one run of a finished item makes and what it uses. For an 11.8 kg refill it can be one empty cylinder, the gas and a seal. Every batch you book takes those off the shelf for you.

### What happens if I delete a production batch?

Everything it moved is put back: the materials return to the shelf, the finished goods are taken off, and any wastage it recorded is returned.

### Why is the Production menu not there?

The **LPG Production** module is off (**Settings → Modules**), your plan does not include the production add-on (a padlock shows), or your role has no **View** on it.

### Cylinder bharne ka kaam kahan likhte hain?

"Settings → Modules" mein "LPG Production" on karein. Phir "Raw Materials" mein gas, seal, valve likhein, "Bill of Materials" mein recipe banayen (maslan 1 khali cylinder + gas + 1 seal = 1 bhara cylinder), aur roz "Production → New Batch" mein kitne run hue likh kar "Book the Batch" dabayen.

## Khulasa (Roman Urdu)

Filling plant ka hisaab teen screens mein hai: "Raw Materials" (gas, seal, O-ring, valve jaisa maal), "Bill of Materials" (recipe: ek bhara cylinder kis se banta hai) aur "Production" (roz ki batches aur nuqsan). Yeh "Settings → Modules" mein "LPG Production" on karne se nazar aate hain. "New Batch" mein recipe aur runs likh kar "Book the Batch" dabayen: recipe ka maal shelf se kam hota hai aur bhare cylinder "Warehouse Full" mein aa jate hain. Shelf kam ho to poori batch mana ho jati hai. Batch delete karein to sab kuch wapas rakh diya jata hai. Nuqsan (leak, condemned cylinder) "Wastage" mein alag likha jata hai.
