Every Irsaal Goods Transport Software company has a public tracking page: a page where anyone with a bilty number can see where the goods are, without signing in. It is on every plan and works whether or not the company's website is published, so the tracking link in a customer's SMS never breaks. The link is on the company's own address, /{company-slug}/track, and every printed bilty carries a QR code that opens it. The office finds the same link on each bilty's page under Tracking & Alerts, and the sidebar's Help section has a Public Tracking Page link that opens it in a new tab. This guide explains what a visitor sees, what is hidden, and how the link reaches customers.
What does a customer see?
The page is headed Shipment Tracking ("Track Shipment"): a box Enter your Bilty No, e.g. LHR-00012 and a Track button. Type the bilty number exactly as printed on the bilty (capitals or not) and press Track. Opening a link that already carries the number (the link in an SMS, or the QR code) shows the result at once. The result shows:
- a progress line Booked, Loaded, In Transit, Reached and Delivered, and the current whereabouts, for example "At Lahore station", "On the way from Lahore to Karachi", "Ready for collection at Karachi station", "Out for delivery from Karachi", "Delivered" or "Booking cancelled";
- Bilty No, From, To, Booked on and Packages;
- the Sender and Receiver with their names masked (for example "A*** G****");
- the timeline of steps with date and time. Only public steps are shown; entries the office marks internal (such as who collected the goods) never appear;
- for a To-Pay bilty, "To-Pay: Rs … to be paid when collecting."; and once the goods have reached the destination, "Your goods are ready at our :station office. Bring your CNIC and the bilty number." with the office phone.
If the number is not found: "No shipment found for :no. Check the number printed on your bilty (e.g. LHR-00012)." The page shows the company's helpline ("Help: :phone") from Settings → Company.
What is not shown?
Names are masked and phone numbers are never shown, because bilty numbers are easy to guess. Nothing about other bilties, the sender's or receiver's CNIC and address, the driver, the vehicle number or the company's money is on the page. The page is rate-limited to 60 requests a minute per visitor.
Where does the tracking link go?
- SMS and WhatsApp alerts: the {tracking_link} placeholder in every message, so the sender and receiver get the link when the bilty is booked, when the vehicle departs, when it arrives and when it is delivered (Settings in Irsaal goods transport software: company, bilty and SMS alerts).
- Printed bilties: a QR code on every copy (How to book, print, edit and cancel a bilty in Irsaal goods transport).
- The company website: the home page has a tracking box, and the website has its own
/trackpage (Company website, online booking and Online Users in Irsaal goods transport). - A JSON version for developers:
/{company-slug}/track/{bilty-no}answers the same public facts (status, whereabouts, route, packages, amount due for To-Pay, and the public timeline) as data. It never returns names or phone numbers.
Frequently asked questions
How can my customer track a bilty in Irsaal goods transport software?
Send them the tracking link (it is in every SMS) or ask them to open your company's tracking page (/{company-slug}/track, or the Public Tracking Page link in the sidebar) and type the bilty number printed on the bilty.
Can customers track by phone number?
No. The public page tracks by bilty number only. The office can search by bilty number, name or phone on Operations → Bilties, and the Delivery Desk searches by number, phone or CNIC.
Does the tracking page need the website plan?
No. Tracking is on every plan and works with the website off. Only the full company website with online booking needs the website add-on.
Why does the receiver's name show stars?
Names are masked on the public page ("A*** G****") because bilty numbers are easy to guess. Staff see full names inside the panel.
The link in the SMS says nothing found.
Check the bilty number in the link matches the bilty and has not been typed wrongly, and that it belongs to this company: each company's tracking page shows only its own bilties.
