Irsaal Milk Shop Software, by Irsaal Software, runs a milk shop or small dairy: milk comes in from your own animals and from suppliers, goes out on the morning and evening rounds to subscribers, and is sold over the counter. The office works in a web browser in the milk panel. Riders use the Irsaal Rider Android app, or the Rider Portal in any phone browser. Milk is measured in litres and nothing comes back empty, so a day is an issue-and-settle cycle: litres go out on a rider's round, and the litres and cash are matched against it when the rider hands the round over.
What does the software keep track of?
- Milk in. Daily Milk Stock records what your own farm gave and what each supplier delivered, per kind of milk, for the morning and evening shift.
- Subscribers. Each customer has a Customer Type (Monthly Payer, Weekly Payer or Daily Payer), a delivery time, the milk and litres they take, their own price, an assigned rider and a running ledger balance.
- Rounds. Rider Dispatch issues litres to a rider for a date and shift. The round is settled in Rider Ledger.
- The counter. POS sells leftover milk and stocked products (yogurt, eggs, butter) to walk-in customers.
- Money. Cash, bank and card accounts under Finance, expenses, supplier payables, customer receivables and staff pay.
- Kinds of milk. Cow, buffalo and goat milk come ready. Any other milk (camel, sheep, mixed) is added under Milk Types & Rates.
How does a day work, step by step?
- Enter the milk that came in. Open Daily Operations → Daily Milk Stock, press Manage / Enter, choose the date and shift, enter Own Farm Milk per kind of milk and any Supplier Milk, and press Save Stock. - Dispatch the riders. Open Daily Operations → Rider Dispatch, choose the date and shift, type the litres of each milk to load on each rider and press Dispatch on that rider's row. - The rider works the round. In the Irsaal Rider app (or the Rider Portal) the rider marks each door: litres handed over, and whether the customer paid. - The rider hands the round over. Submit for approval sends the round to the office. Nothing is posted to any account or customer ledger yet.
- The office approves it. Under Management → Rider Ledger, the office opens the round, corrects anything that is wrong and presses Approve. Each customer's bill is set to the milk they really took, payments are credited to customers, cash and online money go to the accounts you choose, rider expenses are booked, good milk that came back returns to the counter and spoiled milk is written off. What is different from the water and LPG products?
Milk is a separate product with its own tables. Permissions are a grid of module by action (View, Add, Edit, Delete plus extra buttons), not a flat list. There are no bottles, deposits or cylinders. A rider's round is a Rider Ledger for one date and one shift, not a route of orders. There is no online store front for a milk shop: a dairy's public address only shows its name, trade and ways to call.
What does the Dashboard show?
The first item in the menu, Dashboard, opens with "Welcome back" and cards for the day: Today Milk In, Subscribed Demand, Local Sale Left, POS Sales Today, Cash In Hand, Bank / Card, Receivable (Customers) and Payable (Suppliers), and shortcut buttons Add Stock, Dispatch, Sell Milk, Approve, Customers and Reports. A banner says "N rider ledgers are waiting for approval." when rounds have been handed over, and until stock is entered for the day there is an Enter Today's Milk Stock button. A shortcut button appears only if the login's role may open that screen. A new shop's figures are all zero until the first stock sheet, riders and customers are added.

How does Irsaal bill a monthly customer?
The milk is added to the customer's ledger when the rider is dispatched, at the customer's own rate. When the office approves the rider's round, the bill is corrected to the litres actually handed over. Payments are credited on approval, or at the counter with Receive Payment.
Does the milk app work offline?
