The Store Front in Irsaal Water Delivery Software is your business's own public website. Customers can see your products and prices, order water, create an account and check out into the delivery areas you serve. It is built under Store Front → Store Front, previewed with Live Preview, and goes online when you publish it. Orders placed on it arrive in Store Front → Online Orders, and the people who sign up are listed in Online Customers.
How do I build the website?
Open Store Front — "Your public website — content, delivery zones, publishing and SEO". Work through its tabs:
| Tab | What you set |
|---|---|
| General | Hero & identity: Store name, Tagline, Hero headline, Hero subtitle and About blurb (footer). Contact shown on the site: Phone, WhatsApp number (shown as a tap-to-chat button), Email, Address, Delivery hours and a Delivery note such as "Free delivery on orders over Rs. 500". Save with Save general settings. |
| Themes | Choose a theme and press Save theme. Premium themes show a lock until they are unlocked for your account. |
| Pages | Your own pages, such as About Us: Title, Content, Meta description, Order, Published and Show in menu, then Save page. Starter pages adds a ready-made set to edit. |
| Blog | Posts for your website. |
| SEO | Search listing: Allow search engines to index this store (turn it off while you are still building), Page title (under 60 characters), Meta description (140–160 characters) and Keywords. Save with Save SEO settings. |
| Delivery Areas | The cities and areas you deliver to (below). |
| Payments | Accepted methods: Cash on delivery (the rider collects at the door) and Bank transfer (customers upload their receipt against the order), with the Bank details shown at checkout. The Bottle deposit comes from Settings → Pricing. Save with Save payment settings. |
| Alerts | Messages to website customers when they order and when the status changes. |
| Publish | Take the website live, and its address (below). |
Page and blog text keeps simple formatting (paragraphs, headings, lists, links, bold), and anything else pasted in, such as scripts, is removed when it is saved and again when it is shown.
How do I set the areas I deliver to?
On Delivery Areas:
- Add a city: type the City name and press Add city.
- Add an area inside it: choose the City, type the Area name and a Delivery charge (leave it blank for the default), and press Add area.
- Under Charge rules, set the Default delivery charge and the Minimum order value (0 means no minimum), and press Save charge rules.
Customers can only check out into an area listed here. A city or area can be disabled without deleting it.
How do I publish the website?
- Press Live Preview to see the site as a visitor will. Only a signed-in administrator of your business can see the store while it is a draft, which is what makes the preview work.
- Open the Publish tab, check Your store address, and press Publish now — free.
The top of the Store Front page then says Your store is LIVE ("Customers can visit and order right now."). Until you publish, it says Your store is OFFLINE (draft) ("Visitors see your business page until you publish."): the store's own pages answer "not found" to anyone but your administrator, while your business's address shows your business page instead. The menu shows a Draft badge beside Store Front until then. Unpublish ("Take the store offline?") takes the site offline again.
Every store publishes free on its own address, named after your business, with HTTPS included: the Your free address box on the Publish tab shows it, with Copy and Open. After publishing, the secure connection can take a little while: the page says "Your store is published — the secure connection (HTTPS) is being set up", visitors see a "Coming Soon" page meanwhile, and only Unpublish is available until it is ready (up to 24 hours, usually much less).
What do I do with an online order?
- Open Store Front → Online Orders. Filter by Search, Status or Payment, and Open an order.
- Under Manage this order, set the Delivery date and Route, or leave Match automatically by area. Then press Confirm. The order goes onto the delivery round like any other.
- Move it along with Mark dispatched and Mark delivered (or Confirm delivery). For a bank transfer, check the uploaded receipt and press Verify & mark paid. For cash on delivery, tick Payment was collected on delivery.
- If the order will not go ahead, Cancel order takes any pending delivery off the run sheet. Mark returned records bottles coming back, either into warehouse stock or written off as damaged.
The customer is told at each step if website alerts are on.
What are Requests?
Operations → Requests (the Service Requests screen, "Connection enquiries submitted from your public website") lists people who filled in the request form on your public website: their Contact (name, phone, email), Location (area and address), Needs (Residential or Corporate, bottles a week and their message), when it was Received and its Status. The three boxes at the top count New, Contacted and Converted, and pressing one filters the list. View the form opens the form as visitors see it.
- Change the Status on the row to New, Contacted, Converted or Closed as you follow up (needs Website Requests → Edit; the change saves as soon as you choose it).
- Press Convert (the person-plus button; needs Website Requests → Convert to Customer) and confirm "Create a customer from this request?". It creates a customer with the name, phone and address from the request, type Residential (a Corporate request becomes Commercial), a Bottle Holding Limit of 2, no balances and a note "From website request." followed by their message, and marks the request Converted. Open the new customer to set their route, rider and price. The green person button on a converted row opens that customer.
Requests are separate from Online Orders: a request is a person asking to become a customer, an online order is a customer buying.
Frequently asked questions
Can my water business have its own website with Irsaal?
Yes. Store Front builds it: your name, prices, delivery areas and online ordering. Publish it from the Publish tab. It is part of the plans that include the store front; see Irsaal pricing: plans for water and LPG delivery software.
How do customers order water online?
They open your store front website, choose products, enter an address in one of your delivery areas and check out with cash on delivery or bank transfer. The order appears in Online Orders.
Why can't a customer check out?
Their area is not in Delivery Areas, or the order is below the Minimum order value. Add the area, or change the charge rules.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, but it is set up for you. The Publish tab has Your own domain (shown to roles with Store Front Builder → Domain & SSL). It says Set up by Customer Care until a domain is live, and Live once it is. Customer Care points a domain such as www.mywater.com at your store, fits the HTTPS certificate and publishes it, usually the same working day. Have the domain name and your registrar sign-in ready, and quote your Account ID and Support PIN from the profile menu. Contact Irsaal support (WhatsApp +92 345 6703860). Your free address keeps working either way.
I do not see Store Front in the menu.
The Store Front & Online Orders module is off under Settings → Modules, your plan does not include it, or your role cannot open it.
